About Me

After growing up in church all my life I struggled with finding the real Jesus. At 21 years old that all changed and Jesus became the only thing in life that really mattered. Since then over a decade has passed serving and speaking to students and young adults all across the country. I attempt a unique blend of intricate story weaving, off-the-cuff jokes, and straight forward no nonsense biblical truth telling to draw audiences in to what God has to say to them. I seek above all else to make the gospel simple, approachable, and understandable to any audience any time.

Blog

Have you ever found yourself saying, “I wish someone had told me _______!”? I do it all the time. I am always finding myself at the end of discovery in life and leadership and thinking, “That would have been nice to know beforehand!” So, this blog is me sharing with you my discoveries from years of meandering sometimes disastrous adventures through marriage, leadership, and life in general.

The push to begin writing came from My wife and I embarking on the biggest adventure of our lives - to pack up everything we own, leave behind everything we know, to move to Seattle to plant a church! God called us to plant a church in the Pacific Northwest, and as I knew we were about to make a lot of new discoveries, I also knew I wouldn’t be the last one to take this journey. I wanted to make things a little easier for the next guy.

So, join me as I chronicle the stories of my mistakes, occasional nuggets of wisdom, and hard-to-admit, soul-spilling in order that we might go on this adventure together.
